sharin f i l m

on my american dream..

in the film jenny dream of france.. loves french music art and film.. i always aspire to travel the 50 states.. to be photographed with abraham lincoln.. i guess all of us.. wild and young always thought the grass is greener on the other side.. this film insinuates that such dreams can be nightmares.. i personally hate western food.. i cant give up my hokkien mee and laksa.. i am very glad globalization has allowed me to live my american dream here without the snow of course.. i spent my money on bob dylan music.. spent my time on american history books.. spent my life on american shows from bill maher to entourage.. today i not quite sure if i will say yes to a free ticket to san francisco..

on education..

i strongly believe i may take a lifetime to discover what it means by education.. the film challenges our elitist mindsets which lack rationality and moral values.. why do we go to school and why are professors teaching.. this life is dichotomized by structure and randomness.. does my university education has a grand scheme of plan.. i near the end of it and i am not quite sure what kind of student this institute hopes to mould me into..

i strongly recommend this film.. not long at all.. won 2 awards at sundance.. sundance feature the best indie films and it is actually on miotv..
