the legend of baggar vance.. made in 2000 based on 1930s..

its the aftermath of the great depression.. after watchin similar films like seabiscuit and cinderella men.. i always have this preconception of true stories being more inspirin.. baggar vance was a fantasy but so much more engagin and motivatin.. this show changed my opinion of golf.. i may head down to the course some day..

i love hats.. like those in public enemies and road to perdition.. seriously franklin delano roosevelt killed that fashion..

in order to prepare for my ps2254 amercian government and politics final exams.. i watched two very american movies.. i strongly recommend anyone who crave for some thought provokin moments and original humour to go rent these two dvds..

a documentary on ballroom dancin being introduced as a programme in elementary schools in new york city.. this film touches the heart as it artistically expresses hope and reinforces the positive values in life.. it also affirms the belief of my deprived and unchallenged college education in nus..



youth in revolt.. 2009..

it is about a guy tryin to transform himself in order to win the heart of his dream girl.. it is just sad that this rare hilarious genre can only be found in two cinemas.. i cant really conclude what is the overall theme.. but it is just amazin and there is certainly something special in it for everyone.. michael cera is too charmin.. after juno superbad nick and norah infinite playlist.. i am certainly goin to watch paper heart..

two years ago.. uefa champions league semi final at old trafford.. i could not recall the score.. but i cant forget how much i feared to play manchester united..

rijkaard 07/08 season was a struggle.. a squad with zambrotta milito and ronaldinho was the most inconsistent side i ever witnessed.. one week we could beat valencia 6-0.. the next week get trashed 4-1 by real madrid.. we struggled to play good football.. we struggle to produce results.. we struggled with identity.. somewhere i gave up.. concludin it was an end of an era and i had to wait another decade for barca to regroup..

today.. it is not by chance we are in the semi finals.. there is nothing to fear.. even the ashes of eyjafjallajokull cant stop us from travellin to milan.. it is time for the world to marvel at a paradox.. that football can actually be played simply.. yet beautifully..

christopher nolan is returnin this summer with an idea.. i am callin for all movie lovers who crave for plot actin and cinematography to head for an imax experience.. it is time for us to behind the disgraceful day which we put on the dumb glasses to watch avatar.. nolan had changed my life with momento prestige and dark knight.. i cant wait for inception..
